The Road izle (1982) İzle

The Road, the story of five inmates who are on a one-week leave from a semi-open prison. The journey begins with a bus and train ride, during which we see glimpses of the life stories and experiences of the five inmates, creating a wide and detailed panorama of Turkey. The film portrays the lives of the poor and oppressed, living under feudal structures and mentality. We witness the "lost lives" of the inmates, named Süleyman, Mevlüt, Ömer, Mehmed Salih, and Seyit Ali Fıtar. Through their stories, the film highlights the reality that the country is essentially a "huge prison with the inside and the outside world", ultimately reflecting the societal conditions and the struggles of the marginalized people.
